Building a procurement analytics tool (2 days)
Purchasing Analytics Idealist Basic Course. A two-day company-specific workshop on purchasing analytics, where participants build a purchasing analytics tool from their own organization's purchasing data and learn the basics of utilizing purchasing analytics. Can be implemented as a local, remote or multi-format workshop in 1-4 parts. Maximum of 5 participants. Participants must have a trial or normal license to use the Spendata analytics tool.
Training description
This two-day, company-specific workshop is the first in a series of two workshops. In this workshop, you will build an analytics tool from your organization's own purchasing data and learn basic usage. In the second workshop, you will learn how to refine and utilize the tool.

What parts are there in the workshop?
- As a preliminary task for the workshop, participants
- acquire their own organization's purchasing data to be used in the workshop according to the instructions
- adopt the Spendata tool as a trial or regular version
- Introduction to purchasing analytics and the tool used provides the skills to understand purchasing analytics, its concepts and the tool used.
- The Uploading Purchase Data section walks you through uploading your organization's own data to the tool so that participants can reproduce it independently in the future.
- In the Understanding and Organizing Information section, purchasing information is refined and information viewing, analysis, and utilization of different perspectives are practiced.
- The section on applying analytics in your own organization identifies the uses and target groups of purchasing analytics and describes ideas for further development of the analytics tool.
The workshop can utilize the online learning environment and data bank.

Education in a nutshell
- A workshop tailored to the team and client. The objectives, content, structure and duration are agreed upon before the workshop. The workshop may include preliminary, intermediate and final tasks as agreed, as well as training material.
- Participants will adopt a trial or regular version of the Spendata analytics tool before the workshop.
- Duration 2 days, can be implemented in 1-4 parts as a local, multi-modal or remote workshop.
- Number of participants: group size maximum 5
- The workshop will be invoiced in one installment approximately two weeks before it begins and it is possible to cancel it free of charge 14 days before the start of the training.
- The price includes 24% VAT. The customer is responsible for travel, accommodation and other practical arrangements and their costs. Depending on the location of the training venue, travel costs may be charged.
